I spent one week in Paris with no other destination than the Louvre and I was/(am) still overwhelmed. I suppose in one day you can gain access to the Louvre and glimpse at the Mona Lisa, Winged Victory and Venus deMilo over the throngs in front of you. I hope you have both more time and inclination. I also personally hope to spend several more years visiting this astounding museum/collection.
The Louvre has an excellent website you can review before your visit. I copied the following bus information from their website today.<<Bus: the following bus lines stop in front of the Pyramid: 21, 24, 27, 39, 48, 68, 69, 72, 81, 95.>>
You need to contact me to help figure out which bus line you can use. And as I hoped and thought <<Disabled visitors and visitors with mobility impairments can enter directly at the Pyramid entrance, without having to queue>>!
p.s. There are other accesses that are probably not mobility accessible that I’ll add a post about next.
